Welcome to Hockeytastic. This Privacy Policy explains how Hockeytastic Ltd ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Hockeytastic mobile application and website.
We know how important digital safety is. Hockeytastic is built with an offline-first architecture, meaning your child's reaction training is processed entirely on their device.
Just pure, uninterrupted hockey training. You only connect to the cloud when you explicitly want to save a session to the Locker Room.
We hate ads, and we know you do too. Hockeytastic is, and always will be, 100% free of third-party advertising.
Because we do not show ads, we have absolutely no reason to track your behavior across other apps. Therefore, we explicitly DO NOT:
Your subscription directly supports the development of the app, which means you are our customer, not the product.
When you use Hockeytastic, we collect the following types of information:
We use your data solely to provide and improve the Hockeytastic experience. This includes saving your training history, generating leaderboards for Coach Portals, and securing your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data Retention: We retain your account information and performance data only for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, or if an account remains entirely inactive for 24 months, your personal data will be permanently erased from our servers.
GDPR: Under UK GDPR, our legal bases for processing this data are: (a) Contractual Necessity (to provide the app's core functions and sync your profile), and (b) Legitimate Interests (to analyze crash logs to keep the app stable).
While we never sell your data, we do use trusted third-party services to operate the app. These include:

Your cloud data is securely hosted on servers located in the European Union (Germany). By using the app and opting into cloud saves, you consent to your data being processed in the EU in compliance with UK and EU data protection standards.
Hockeytastic is not designed for, nor directed at, children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or coach, you may use the app to track a child's progress, but the account must be created and managed by an adult over the age of 18. If we discover we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
You have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated performance data at any time. To request data deletion, please email us at hello@hockeytastic.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include your 8-character "Support ID" (found at the bottom of your Settings page in the app) so we can locate your account. We will process your request within 14 days.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you. You also have the right to restrict processing and the right to data portability. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email below.
